MCB Lab is a company that is heavily involved in the development and research of the human microbiome, its targeted modification and related care. Our research focuses not only on our own R&D, but also on the technology transfer of knowledge from primary research into practice. We collaborate with leading Czech universities, especially the Technical University of Liberec and Charles University. An integral part of our activities is joint research with the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Charles University, whose experts are directly involved in the development of new products.
Thanks to these partnerships and shared know-how, we contribute to the expansion of modern therapies with substances that have a beneficial effect on the human microbiome. Our laboratories were founded on the basis of private research and clinical-pharmaceutical practice of founder Jan Kostelnik, who studied at one of the collaborating pharmaceutical faculties. It was his experience in private practice that led him to found MCB Lab - he felt a growing need for an individual therapeutic approach that would take into account the specific composition of each patient's microbiome.
