The skin microbiome is a very important part of the body's microbiome, and when it is in symbiosis with other factors of the human body, a person feels most healthy and full of energy and is at psychological well-being.
Unfortunately, modern fast-paced lifestyle, polluted environment and chronic pathological diseases lead to its dubiosis over time. The microbiome is not in harmony with the body processes, its violation aggravates other pathologies or puts a strain on the overall condition of a person.
5 years of research on the skin microbiome has led us to understand what this system of the human body is most affected by, how to remove the stressors of the microbiome and eliminate the impact of a polluted environment on this unique system of the human body. this system has been developed over hundreds of thousands of years and is supposed to protect us as the first shield in contact with the outside world.
MCB Lab focuses on the development and research of plant extracts that synergistically or symbiotically modulate and positively affect the skin microbiome. Using modern ultrasonic extraction does not destroy biologically active substances as in other types of extraction, and is also very environmentally friendly due to the minimal energy consumption and solvents used (pharmaceutical ethanol).
By combining these unique extracts, which are produced in laboratories in the Czech Republic, with other biologically active substances, we have achieved a stabilizing effect on chronic skin diseases such as atopic eczema, psoriasis or acne, for example. Their use has been documented in hundreds of subjects who have been diagnosed with this disease.
As an added benefit, we have been able to document the beneficial and stimulating effect of the skin microbiome, which lends protection to the skin from the polluted environment in which modern civilization lives. By using active complexes of our extracts with fermentates and lysates from bacteria, we have been able to normalize the upper structures of the skin to make it resistant to pollutants,
By cooperating with the CENAB research centre at UJEP (CZ), we focus on the standardisation of plant extracts. We measure them using modern analytical methods (HPLC, GC-MS) and last but not least measure their biological activity.
